Hi there, I'm Rachel Lyle! I'm a Central Illinois based illustrator with a special interest in the concept of functional art as a vehicle for sustainability. You won't find any single use items or fast fashion here. My preferred medium is the humble porcelain coffee mug. They're original works of art that just happen to be dishwasher safe. Regardless of the canvas, though, my aim is to elevate your everyday by creating beautiful illustrations and patterns that can be enjoyed for years to come. Have art for breakfast as you sip your morning coffee with a custom portrait mug, and snuggle up with a cozy warm blanket donned with intricately detailed vintage carousels. Speaking of blankets, all blankets in this shop can be purchased in a wide range of sizes, from sweet swaddle size to an ample 60 x 80 inches. I cannot overstate the quality of this mug!! The immense love and care that went into the artwork is obvious and I honestly teared up when I unboxed it. (I’m a crazy cat mom and have always wanted something with both of my fur babies on it!) Rachel nailed every detail down to the eye color and each little fur splotch. She also went the extra mile to create a fun background pattern so I could incorporate all of their insane nicknames. 🤣 This is not only my new favorite mug, but a treasured keepsake that I’ll hold close long after my kitties are gone. 🥹💕 I will definitely be ordering again!
